Photo The sculpture is one of the most representative
and important monuments of the city.
There is no great knowledge of the history or meaning of this work of art, many people named in a colloquial "mono bichi", its official name is "Monument to ignorance" but the real name is "Sculpture of Benito Juarez Center" represents the fight against ignorance,
oppression and freedom.
Named because in front of him is a work made of steel with the figure of Benito Juarez and what it seeks to represent sculptural center is its soul and courage, as he struggled against his fears.
It is a sculpture created in the 60s, in order
to
honor great personality.
Looking at the sculpture shows a very detailed type of construction, it is
said that everything was done by hand with small tools. It is made of marble with silver finishes, detailing a naked man but only see the bottom of the legs and an eagle below it, the body itself very well defined details in the muscles, the size and the special feature to show strength,
intensity, passion and brilliance.
It is a work of almost 5 meters high, is located in a base of 3 meters and two meters wide.
What the photographer wanted to take this picture capture is to capture the force exerted and plays a man to achieve its objectives and at the same time, the strength of the man himself for such sculpture,
dedication, perseverance and intelligence, teamwork prevails and the value of each.
